This accessibility statement applies to CrossIron Mills.
At CrossIron Mills we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, regardless of impairment i.e., vision, hearing, motor or cognitive. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Whilst we work to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. We acknowledge that this is a work in progress and there are improvements that can and are being made.
Known problem areas
The website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Version 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at a minimum “Double-A” (AA) rating. What we’re doing to improve the website
During our recent audit we have identified areas of the website that are critical to fix. We are currently working to fix our navigation and reduce the amount of animations we use. We’re aiming to get these critical issues fixed by spring 2021.
Our dedicated team of developers are working continuously to minimise the number of non-compliant issues on our sites and fix as many as possible.
Once the issues mentioned in this statement are resolved we will be looking to recruit people who regularly use assistive technologies and asking them to feedback on the accessibility of our website.
We are committed to educating all staff to be aware of website accessibility guidelines to ensure maximum compliance when new content is added to our websites.
At CrossIron Mills, accessibility and inclusivity are part of our caring values.
